Kyle is a native of the Belton/Temple area. After high school Kyle played baseball at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor for four years. After graduating he began his coaching career at Southwestern University. After five years as a Southwestern a Southwester Pirate, Kyle took the pitching coach position at his alma matter, UMHB. In his tenure at UMHB Kyle’s ministerial heart was shaped and refined. Kyle felt the call to vocational ministry and left full time coaching in 2014. After a short time away from the area as a pastor, Kyle restarted the college ministers at Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church in Temple where he is currently acting as the college and discipleship minister. 

Kyle has a wife, Tiffany, and 2 children, Gehrig and Abby.
