Carrie grew up in rural Hill County and went on to receive her degree in History with secondary teaching certification from Tarleton State University in 2006. While teaching in Hillsboro ISD, Carrie began serving as the high school campus FCA Huddle sponsor, continuing in that role for 3 years. After Carrie and husband, Chris, welcomed their first-born, Cole, Carrie directed her attention to being a stay-at-home mom, while continuing to volunteer within the local FCA ministry.
In March of 2011, Carrie joined the Heart of Texas FCA staff as an Area Representative in the northern part of the ministry area, known as HOT-North, where she serves coaches and athletes throughout Hill County. The Rogers make their home in Hillsboro where they joyfully work and manage their 2,000 acre farm operation of wheat and barley.
