Ben grew up in the FCA ministry as a youngster and throughout his school years. He is a son of Dr. Elliot Johnson and a former all-american college baseball player (LeTourneau University '99). He has been full time with FCA since the summer of ’99 starting off in the Austin area. In the summer of ’07 he and his wife Katherine moved to the Waco area to be the Director of the Heart of Texas area. He has served as a chaplain for teams on the college and professional level and authored 2 daily devotional books. Katherine is former BU softball player and currently serves as a sports chaplain at Baylor (and full-time mom to Ava Claire, Haley Jean, and Levi Hilton) working with the female coaches and athletes.
