Charlie Vineyard

Charlie Vineyard retired in 2011 after 31 years as a H.S. teacher and coach. Charlie received Jesus as his Savior in 1982 and has walked with God ever since. He has served as an FCA huddle coach for over 25 years. He has a firm belief on the tremendous impact that a coach can have on people. In his career, he has had mountain top highs (16-0) and valley lows(0-10).  The constant was the faithfulness of Jesus and a family that loves him. He has a great desire to pass the love of God on to coaches. In 2013, Charlie suffered a major stroke and spent four months in hospitals and rehab. Through rehab, God restored him to excellent health. The stroke solidified a zeal in him to serve God with his life. His desire is to do this thru FCA. This opportunity will combine his love for God, people, and sports with his gifts and experience. Charlie's pride and joy are his family, He and his wife Laurie have been married for 28 yrs. They have three grown children, Katie ,Cody and Courtney and a son-in-law James Foster.
